Bad Swami
“For starters, I am Indian, but born and raised in America. In fact, I am writing a book about growing up Indian in America. Like so many self-proclaimed swamis, I have decided to present myself as a swami with no “swami credentials” per se. To be fair, I’m not really sure where to get such credentials but if you know a good place, please let me know. I doubt that I’ll ever be a good swami but I do possess the ability to be offbeat and irritating. In short, I sit on a throne of lies. I am Bad Swami.” Read more by Bad Swami at www.badswami.com
The Easy Indian
I wish I could say I’ve been cooking Indian food since I was a little girl, or that I’m the most famous cook among my friends, but, sigh, none of that would be true. What is true is that I’m a mom of two small children, and have spent most of my adult life doing the corporate thing and eating out (or freezing and re-heating my mom’s food). Not willing to feed my family take out-dinner, I decided it was time to learn how to cook. You can check out my first entry, A Journey Into Indian Cooking for, um, my journey into Indian cooking. Learn to cook some of the healthiest food on the planet, that also happens to be some of the tastiest at theeasyindian.com
